What is an EdCamp?
A day of networking and sharing with educators, students and parents from Vancouver and neighbouring schools. The morning begins with participants proposing and voting on the session topics they want. Based on votes, organizers will create a session schedule. Participants have the opportunity to engage in discussions about current and future-oriented teaching and learning. Sessions are expected to be facilitated discussions (not presentations), where every participant has the chance to contribute their perspective. By the end of the day, participants come away with a good understanding of other people's perspectives on key educational issues. There is also going to be a daycare onsite, if you have any small children and need some childcare. Where: Gladstone Secondary, 4105 Gladstone Street, Vancouver, BC (5 minute walk from Nanaimo Skytrain Station) When: Saturday, February 4th, 2017 Time: 8:30am - 2:30pm More info: vsblearns.ca
