Free Presentation for Parents - Memory and the Young Learner

Jackie Morton is the parent of a grade two student here at Livingstone. In this session she will share information from her recently completed Masters of Science degree, the focus of which was learning and memory. While she applies what she has learned in her work with adult learners in the workplace, she has relevant information to share with parents. Jackie will provide a high level overview of what memory is and how learning works, along with some insights from her research about how to support the long term memory process for young learners. 

Bio
Jackie Morton is the Global Technology, People and Culture Leader at lululemon. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as certificates in behavioral science, professional counseling and emotional intelligence facilitation. Jackie recently completed a Master’s of Science degree in the Neuroscience of Leadership through Middlesex University in the UK.
