Starting right after Thanksgiving Start collecting your refundable drink containers (no dairy, soy or almond milk cartons please!) and don't forget to ask your extended family, friends and neighbours to keep theirs too. Our goal is to collect an EXTRA 10,000 pieces of recycling, so please bring in all your bottles and cans and drop them off in the recycling room, close to the gym inside the school.

 Don't put that pop can or wine bottle in the blue bin!Bring your refundable recyclables to the school! Our PAC recycling program has historically been a large source of funds for all the great work the PAC does for our families. It also fosters a great sense of awareness within the school community about our earth's limited resources. In order to continue with past success, we need you!
1. RECYCLE: please bring in all your refundable recyclable items and put them in the bins in the room by the gym on the north side of the school. Alcohol containers are ok! Items we can accept:
2. VOLUNTEER: This program relies heavily on volunteer labour to be successful. The more people we have helping, the faster it goes. In addition to help sorting, we are also looking for someone with a truck or other larger vehicle to drive around to area businesses to pick up their refundable items. More information about this program can be found here. If you can volunteer, please email the PAC.  Do you have an extra hour a month?
One of the PAC's major fundraisers is our recycling program. This program depends on the support from the parents to keep it running. We are currently in need of more parent volunteers to help sort the bottle donations. This does not need to be large commitment. Depending on the amount of donations needing to be sorted, it takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Volunteers can come once a week or once a month - whatever works for you.
