After a relatively warm and pleasant October, November has taken us into Fall and possibly even Winter given the snow fall this past week!

We wanted to start by announcing the launch of our Livingstone Spirit Wear site

Livingstone Spirit Wear!  Many of us admittedly are often hurrying home to change into sweatpants on these cold, grey nights.  And so our sweatpants need updating every so often.  Livingstone Spirit Wear is a perfect solution with custom branded clothing (from a local supplier) including t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and ball caps. The e-store is open now, and purchases can be made directly on the website: Livingstone Spiritwear — Beastvan. The ordering deadline is December 1, 2022. Just in time for the holidays!

Purdy’s Chocolate Reminder You’ve seen this before, but a friendly reminder.  The ordering deadline is Nov 21st.

When you create your online account, please use your child’s name and division number so that we know which student to deliver them to.

Example:
·First name = Harry
·Last name = Potter (Div. 2)

Important dates:
·Nov. 1 – website opens for orders
·Nov. 21 – website closes for orders
·Dec. 6 – chocolates will be sent home with students

Purdy’s FAQs:
How does this work?  Go to the link, buy some chocolates, 25% of the proceeds get donated to the David Livingstone PAC.  Giant boxes of chocolates will be delivered to the school and volunteers will pack up the individual orders.

How do I get my chocolates?  We will be delivering the chocolates to classes on Dec. 6.  If you have multiple children, you may want to have them delivered to the one that is least likely to forget them at school.

Can friends and family buy chocolates too?  Of course!  Just send them the link.  You will need to: (1) let them know the name/division of the student that the chocolates need to be delivered to OR place the order for them.  (2) get the chocolates from the school on Dec. 6, (3) deliver them to your friends/family.  The PAC will pack up the chocolates with the rest of your order and send them home with the David Livingstone student.

Do we need any volunteers?  Yes!  We will be packing up and delivering the chocolates on Dec. 6 and will need some help to do that.  Please contact Reiko [email protected] if you’re interested.
