​PAC Fundraising at David Livingstone

 How Fundraising Money is Spent

In consultation with parents, teachers, staff and administration, priority areas are identified for funding. Thanks to the hard work of staff and volunteers, we were able to support many areas over the last few years. Some of the highlights include:

  • Direct Teacher and Staff Support
    • ​Each year the PAC provides funds to classroom and non-enrolling instructors to minimize their personal out-of-pocket expenses toward classroom-specific resources, teaching materials, activities and supplies.
  • Technology Upgrades
  • Library / Learning Commons Upgrades
  • Arts, Culture and Physical Education
  • Literacy Enrichment (primary home reading books, sets of books shared by multiple divisions)
  • Library Book Replenishment
  • STEAM Supplies (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)
  • Main Hallway Mural Project
  • New Team Jerseys
  • Sports Equipment
  • Pop up tent and flags for sporting events
  • ​School Garden and year long Classroom Gardner program
  • Tupper Wellness Centre support
  • Sports Day - Free Healthy Snacks and Treats for all students

Fundraising Programs

  • Fall Fund Drive - We have heard from many parents that they would like a way to receive a tax receipt for donations made to the school. Our Annual Fall Fund Drive provides this option and ensures 100% of the money donated benefits Livingstone students.
  • Fun Lunch - Our Fun Lunch program has been a wonderful success and with your continued support helps raise funds for the school, while making lunch fun.
