FAQ
What will the funds be used for? 
The money raised in the 2024 fall fund drive will fund enough laptops (30) for a full class of children. These will be a shared resource throughout the school. 

How much are we trying to raise? 
Our goal is to come together with the community to raise $30,000. If we can raise $100 per student as a community, we would be close to our target! We know not everyone can afford to donate that much, so please consider asking family, friends, employers or others if they can help support our school. 

Can I get a tax receipt? 
Yes! All donations over $25 are automatically issued a tax receipt from the Vancouver School Board (VSB).

Can my friends, family, colleagues donate? 
Anyone and everyone can donate via the donation link. Please be sure to choose “David Livingstone Elementary PAC” in the drop-down to ensure the funds are directed to the campaign. VSB will not reallocate funds that not assigned to “David Livingstone Elementary PAC” back to us.

Can my business contribute? 
A business may donate to receive a tax receipt as well! If you are thinking of donating over $1000 from your business, please drop us a line as well at [email protected]; we would like to publicly acknowledge you, if you'd like.

Why Should I Donate? 
Not only is this a chance to help your own students, it's an opportunity to help all of the kids at Livingstone benefit from updated technology. This is also the only PAC fundraiser of the school year to issue tax receipts.
